Cooperation with Architects and Designers

While searching for the perfect gift in Belgrade, I realized that the choice of decorative items with traditional motives for modern interiors is not great. Since the gift was intended for friends who live in New York, I wanted to bring them something that will remind them of their origin, but that is also modern and stylish. Milica’s pillows were the best choice. The colors and patterns perfectly decorate the living room of a New Yorker. Even though the pillows have been used for a couple of years, I can freely say that the quality remained impeccable. Milica’s textiles can certainly be a good gift for friends and family.

When we were buying an apartment and changing the whole ambiance, we came to a big dilemma about how to arrange a new space. We kept the most basic things and furniture, but we wanted something new, different, and everything to be within our budget. I have been following Milica’s work for a long time, and I knew immediately that such a creative person can do a lot for us. The children finally got stylish teenage rooms, while the living room and balcony became an important place for our socializing. I am amazed at how practical and good things can be at the same time. I think the “secret” of the perfect space is in the right choice and combination of products that I would never be able to fit so well on my own. In the end, we got more than expected.

We own one “problematic” Milica’s Textile pillow. A gray pillow with red details has been in our possession for years. There was a fight around him (parents vs. children) and the question of whether he would be in the living room or the children’s room. The children and their trump cards won. He was washed a million times, but he still proudly flaunted himself on their beds. We changed the living space, but the pillow immediately adapted to the new environment. The time has come for the older son to become independent, and it is clear what type of “item” he wanted to bring. If I had known and taken two pieces right away (but there weren’t any), life would have been much simpler.

We are a family that adores nature and natural materials. We always try to find and use such products. The blankets and pillows we bought from Milica work as a charm for us during our rest time. We must point out that every piece, even when it is just standing on the furniture, really amplifies the space with its design. Often our friends ask us where we got these wonderful things, and so we can finally write it out publicly – at Milica’s, of course.

I have been following Milica’s work for several years, and I know how carefully and enthusiastically she approaches the design process, the quality of the workmanship she creates, but also the interior design projects in which she participates.

I currently live with my family in a city apartment, but without a balcony. My wife and I would love to have a backyard and we slowly work towards obtaining one. We wanted to change the current state of the home, but as construction work in the apartment is impossible, we had to change the decor concept and the whole style of interior. We did not want to risk experimenting, so we turned to the right person for these things. Milica was able to completely refresh our home. Honestly, at first, we did not believe that our home could look like this. I now think that the wait for our perfect little backyard will be much easier.

The cooperation with Milica was great! I took a few pillows and stools for the filming and set design purposes. Each of these textile products still looks new even though they have gone through quite a few shootings. The quality is excellent, the packaging and delivery are impeccable.

I have been using blankets made by Milica for a couple of years now. It is a woolen and very comfortable blanket, perfectly designed for a man’s room as well. We used to fight for it, during the time when only the younger sister had her personalized baby blanket. It is much easier and more comfortable now; I can enjoy it whenever I want. What I like the most is that it is well designed and fits perfectly into my space.

I came across Milica’s designs when, after so many years, I finally made a home for myself in Belgrade. The apartment I wanted to call my home was missing those special finishing touches. I wanted it to reflect the memories of my childhood while still feeling connected to the modern world we live in today.
